...or updated my journal, or did anything here really. I must rectify this, for this is a grievous mistake!

So what's been going on in my wonderful world this past year?

Well, I'm about ready to finally receive my degree in Communications.

I've written a ton (just haven't posted >.<, both poetry and in the two novels I'm working on. Perhaps I'll post a bit from the novels so I can get some good critique on it. I do plan on publishing them eventually, so if anyone knows a good publishing company send them my way!

I met someone. It was a great random online friendship and then we found out we actually live fairly close to each other so we met at a Ren Faire. Oh wow! She took my breath away she was so wonderful to talk to in person, and pretty!

We hit it off! So much so that early this year I asked her father the age old question - "Are you gonna shoot me?" He said he wasn't sure yet, but we'd see what she has to say about it first

Okay, that didn't happen, but I did ask her father, and then I asked her to marry me! Now I will spend the rest of my life making sure she doesn't regret that she said yes.

We set a date for the wedding. We wanted it to be a long engagement since the courtship was sort of brief. So we'll be getting married in April of 2011 - and we couldn't be happier.

After I finish school this semester we've talked about moving in together, and me possibly getting a higher degree in my field while we both work and save money for the wedding.

Cross your fingers everyone and pray to the powers that be that things continue going so well for us! And I'll be sure to start posting here more often.
